DESCRIPTION: The San Diego Union Tribune is San Diego's largest newspaper. The "Trib" used this newsletter as a promotion to local school teachers in a campaign which sold thousands of subscriptions and special programs to classrooms throughout the county. The newsletter design is deliberately "child-oriented," colorful, and playful. The newsletter campaign was very successful in promoting the newspaper's classroom products and services.
